About

A

JOURNEY

OF

gratitude

I started the ‘One Logo a Day’ challenge on Instagram on September 11, 2017, because I wanted to get better at logos. I thought what better way to learn & to grow than to share my work online, to see where I stand, and to progress by getting valuable comments and feedback. Never imagined this was actually going to be the biggest turning point in my life, and the page to now be a 125000 family and still growing. I owe it all to God and to each and every one whom God sent to be a part of this amazing journey. So, I want to wholeheartedly thank everyone so much who came to support my work and made me realise my dream and my purpose. Thank you, and may God bless you. You can witness the key highlights, important milestones, features and major interviews I gave of the entire ‘One Logo a Day Journey’ here.

Logos with Hidden Truths

I remember as a child I used to stare at the rough wall in my room, visually solving & discovering hidden shapes and patterns of animals, people, and nature. Whenever I spotted an animal or a sky with clouds, or a person wearing a hat, it brought great joy to my eyes. This memory of me as a child made me realise why I love doing what I do today. Obsessed with finding hidden meanings and messages within shapes and letters that trigger a human emotion. I remember jumping out of my seat one day while sketching a concept, getting goosebumps all over when I finally saw the hidden shape that had a meaning that made perfect sense. I believe it is the same with being human, to finally find that hidden purpose in life that God created us for. I live for these ‘jumping out of my seat’ moments and sharing them with others so they can experience the same feeling that I felt. This is what visual communication is all about, and I emotionally communicate with others through logos.

FAITH

AT THE

HEART

of Creation

Also, as someone who has a deep and personal relationship with God and who believes that life is purely driven by faith, I discovered that the Greek term ‘logos’ in the Bible, often translated as “Word,” primarily refers to Jesus Christ, the divine expression of God who became incarnate in human form. It embodies God’s creative power, active presence in the cosmos, and the means of divine revelation. The concept is most famously developed in the prologue to the Gospel of John (John 1:1-14), where “the Word” is identified as being with God, existing with God from the beginning, and ultimately becoming flesh in Jesus.  This second meaning of ‘logos’ blew my mind, and I instantly understood why God chose this career path for me. To work and to serve Him & His people with the work I do.
